This is one of the newest units of Düzen Laboratories Group. After the publication of IKU (good clinical procedures) guide in 1995 by the Ministry of Health, to meet the need at this field and to coordinate the laboratory facilities of clinical researches, we have constructed this unit in 1997. Being one of the three biggest institutes of the world, “Covance Virtual Central Laboratories” has chosen Düzen Laboratory as its strategic partner in Turkey after performing all the necessary examinations.
- In this context, laboratory facilities of 99 clinical trials have been performed so far and another 42 are still being performed.
- There are laboratories from all cities of Turkey with which we cooperate, within the framework of clinical research facilities.
- In 20 major cities of the country, we have couriers that serve clinical research facilities. The samples related to the clinical researches obtained at research centers are taken over and sent to the laboratory by our private couriers.
- All the requirements of the transfer of clinical research samples are all met. Samples are transfered within special transfer boxes, which are heat-isolated and shock-proof. If needed, our laboratory provides dry ice (frozen) for the samples to be transfered in.
- If necessary for the clinical research, samples, which have been studied, are stored at between -20 ºC and -70 ºC for the desired time period.
- Special care attention to the transfer procedure is given in order to meet IATA 1.5 criteria.
- The samples which reach the laboratory are then studied using reference methods or equivalent methods that are appropriate for TS EN ISO 17025 standards, making the use of same instruments. No changes are made during the clinical research either at the method or at the reference values.
With all the laboratories from all over the country, private couriers in 20 major cities and with its 10 year experience Düzen Laboratories Gruop is serving at multicenter clinical trials, considering the international standards while doing this.
